Volunteer Opportunities

The following opportunities are open to ALL students at Olathe West to be involved in. These are great to put on college applications or for future membership to NHS. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Clark or Ms. Boyd.

Below are some ideas for where you could find extra community service opportunities. If you find a great community service opportunity that you would like to be added to the list please email Mrs. Clark:
1) Ronald McDonald House - There are many opportunities that can be found on their website including cooking, making snack bags, or collecting donations
2) Harvesters - Harvesters has many activities you can do with groups of other students. See their website below for more information.
3) Mission Southside - A local church that has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year
4) Local Food Banks
5) Johnson County Christmas Bureau - During November and December you can volunteer at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau:
6) Olathe Parks and Recreation - Help remove snow for residents in Olathe over 65 or sign up for 2 houses!
7) Clean up a local park
